Senior Lecturer in Architecture: Histories and Theories, at University of Greenwich

I am very pleased to announce my new appointment at the University of Greenwich as Senior Lecturer in Architecture: Histories and Theories. I am delighted to be back in such a vibrant learning environment and such fantastic new premises. Thank you Heneghan Peng Architects for a welcoming and inspiring building in the heart of Greenwich. I look forward to working with the students and my new colleagues across the University and the School of Design.

Désormais Senior Lecturer in Architecture: Histories and Theories à l’Univeristé de Greenwich, j’ai la chance de travailler dans un environnement stimulant, dans un bâtiment exceptionnel. Merci aux architectes Heneghan Peng pour cette école si accueillante, chaleureuse et dynamisante au coeur de Greenwich. Je me réjouis à l’idée de travailler avec les étudiants et nouveaux collègues au sein de l’Ecole de Design et de l’Université toute entière.

Arts Council England AWARD

Delighted and very grateful to have received the Arts Council England DYCP Award for my project Translation as Re-writing. The funding will allow me to work with translators and a graphic designer on the translation of essays by Mireille Calle-Gruber and Lisa Robertson. I admire both authors very much and look forward to present them with my translations.

Words and Voices Symposium, MA History and Critical Thinking, AA School of Architecture

The Words and Voices Symposium organised by the MA History Critical Thinking will take place on 11 May 2018 in the main lecture hall at the AA School of Architecture, 36 Bedford Square London. With readings by writer Yve Lomax, researcher in Philosophy Lucie Mercier, artist Smadar Dreyfus, cultural critic Shumon Basar and architecture theorist Hélène Frichot.

Many thanks to Kristen Kreider for inviting me to read at the "I without Guarantees" event organised by Copy Press on Feb 9.
A wonderful evening of readings on 'I' in relation to you, by Naoko TakaHashi, Barbara Campbell-Lange, Kate Pickering, Anne Tallentire and myself, with responses by Isobel Harbison and Eley Williams.
